You think I’m talking about Stuttering Craig, James Rolfe, Destin, Keith Apicary, and the rest of the Screwattack crew. Actually, no, the first of that would be meeting Mathew White. A Canadian speaker of the convention for the careers in gaming other than design panel whom we had the pleasure of eating out to Denny’s with. In which we proceeded to make the following jokes of how many ‘slams’ there are in the menu. The cool thing about it is how well we all became acquainted with him, shoot some pool, hangout at our rooms, play Munchkin and all sorts of card games, and listen to the wisdom of his Canadian origins he dispensed: such as the 30% tax, appreciation for British programming, the misspelling of ‘metre/meter’ ‘litre/liter’ ‘emphasise/emphasize’ the ridiculous health regulations and gun legalities. The sort of things that make me happy to be in America. Considering it was heaven for Matt of being down here, other than the scorching heat, if it isn’t slightly ironic. The one weird thing is the products like Clorox and Dentyne is called Javex and Excel over there, isn’t that queer?( And I mean that in its traditional use of the word.) Ah Matt, despite of his character being a bit on the turgid side, we had a great time with him showing the spoils of the U.S. The heavenly spoils, not the bad one. Oh, and did you know in Canada milk comes in bags?

He also said that you could basically pair up anything with video games and make a career out of it. Biology plus video games, study the effects games can have on the mind.
